fantasy/fiction
By jean sparrow
Time travel, tunnels with slippery things stealing in a dark, dried wastelands with hulk frosty bones, and afterwards a land populated by creatures that have developed to be a new rulers of Earth - where was a kitchen sink?
This is Greig Becks initial incursion into fiction/fantasy, and I'm blissful to see he hasn't totally abandoned all a things that make his books fun - some frightening elements, a humor, and a large movement and adventure. The universe Beck creates is one of consternation - from little vampire worms, to a hulk forests, and also to a clues as to what happened to humankind and how a new `beings' evolved.
Arnold 'Arn' Singer is pulled into a black hole and hurtled into a future. The moon is closer now, and a light imbues him with a strength he needs to tarry in a universe that is lethal and beautiful. Two strong races have developed who are sealed in an almighty war.
I desired a cruel Colonel Marion Briggs who sends by some kick-ass Green Berets to move Arn behind - no spoilers, though I'll only say, not all goes to plan!
Beck includes one some-more new component in this book that we adored... a budding (unrequited?) intrigue between Arn and a womanlike Valkeryn Eilif - we know a going to make me unhappy in a end....but fingers crossed!
I desired this book - wish a subsequent one in a array comes soon.

Valkeryn
By Will
I only finished reading Valkeryn - while it took me some time to work out how to get a reason of it though carrying a excite or iphone (I finished adult removing it by a angus and robertson app for my android phone), this book was unequivocally value removing a reason of.
The movement is selected Greig Beck in that a 100 miles an hour, there's also good impression growth with Eilif and Arn, and even a villians - will be engaging to see what happens to General Briggs in a subsequent books.
Its not your normal anticipation novel, and is so most a improved for it. Its some-more a crush adult of scholarship fiction, fantasy, beast and action. Can't wait for a subsequent one.

Exciting and Brilliant!
By Lachlan Hardy
Talk about an movement packaged and epic read! Greig Beck is an extraordinary author and in Valkeryn he has created a truly strange book! It's a time transport story that puts it in sci-fi, though there are also elements, including a Norse-style mythology, that make it work as anticipation too. That's a unequivocally formidable mix of genres, though Greig Beck handles it masterfully.
I was a fan of Greig's prior thrillers and I'm blissful to news that Valkeryn contains a best elements of his prior essay while during a same time pulling him to all new turn of storytelling.
Valkeryn defied all my expectations and we can't wait for a subsequent book in a series. Also On shopping
