Now I'll start by observant there is really small 'romance' to this story. There's zero over PG-13. This story, in my opinion, is what a film Kate & Leopold could have been, had it been good. The characters are unique. One is a plausible lord, Ivan, from a 19th century, from who he is to how he speaks. The past comes alive in this book. we roughly feel like a author is time traveler herself (or a good researcher). Then there's Libby, who felt like a struggling lady from a time. A chairman we can describe to. The time roving fits ideally (since it is executive to a plot).
The story is light and fun. It kept me going until a finish to see how all would spin out. It might be brief though we get your money's worth. we really suggest this work to all readers.
